A Passion for Ceramics. 60 Years of Cor Unum
Stedelijk Museum, ’s-Hertogenbosch
9 March 2014
Cor Unum began in 1953 as a workshop for people who were socially disadvantaged. Over the 60 years that have now passed, it has developed into a producer of ceramic products with high demand in design - without losing sight of its own history. Products, people and the stories that connect with each other and with Cor Unum will be presented in Stedelijk Museum, ’s-Hertogenbosch until 9 March.
From the outset, Cor Unum has offered space and suitable work for everyone because every person has talent and passion. This is the basis on which all the beautiful products have been and will be produced: with cooperation between motivated designers, young art students and people who have difficulties entering the job market. The title of the exhibition refers to the passion for ceramics and craft for which the workshop in ’s-Hertogenbosch is a proponent.
