28 – 29 March 2014
Since it’s foundation, editors, designers, journalists, authors and other people who like magazines visit the Biennale Facing Pages. Both, the two days symposium and the framework programme concern themselves with the role that independent magazines currently play in our society. On March 28 and 29 the symposium brings together magazine makers and aficionados for the third time.
On the first day the toppic of activism will be explored, whereas the second day is all about escapism. Among the speakers are Simon Esterson (art director and publisher of Eye Magazine), Peter Bil’ak (founder oft he magazine Works That Work) and Rachel Maria Tylor (editor and creative director of Another Escape).
