Taking the title “Digital Fix”, the Next Conference presents current digital trends, their strategies, and their influence on humanity and companies. This year’s special focus is on the critical reflection of digitisation and the balance of power between man and machine.


In their roles of consumer, but first and foremost as human beings, visitors are asked to be vigilant towards technology and to always keep the upper hand. This suggests that this is the only way that we can positively influence the direction of digitisation in all areas. The conference wants to show what makes us human in the face of all the machines, artificial intelligence, and robots, the characteristics we should not allow ourselves to be deprived of, and what dangers are hidden by our ever-increasing dependence on technology. Included in the discussion is how the internet is a place of decentralisation par excellence, without central authority, where ironically some of the most influential companies began. Various problems of the digital world and the approach of trusting natural common sense rather than artificial technology, and the responsibility man has towards his own ethics, morals, and society will also be examined.


Just as broadly diversified as digitisation itself is, the conference will also put this very subject under the spotlight: critical but always with the focus on the possibilities it brings. Among the numerous entrepreneurs, speakers, and decision makers will be Andrew Keen, author of “How To Fix The Future”, Pamela Pavliscak, who examines the relationship between emotion and technology, and brand strategist at Spotify, Zach Pentel.
