On April 21 the Financial Times published the Bowen Craggs Index. For the first time the Roche corporate website was the overall winner. The annual ranking, rate examines the corporate websites of the 75 largest companies based on market value. The analysis is centered on user-friendliness, the quality of service offered to corporate target groups and the communicative ability of the website.
Last year Roche only came 26th. The company succeeded in gaining the top spot this year thanks to the re-launch of its website in September 2008 in collaboration with the German marketing and communication agency Virtual Identity. This is the third successive year that a website managed by Virtual Identity has headed the Financial Times Corporate Website Index.
