Artists Doing Design

Who speaks about “design art” these days? Nobody. The trend of author designers selling highly priced limited editions in galleries is clearly over. However, more and more artists reflect in their work designed products and industrial contexts. We will also take a look at the “Car Culture” exhibition at ZKM in Karlsruhe, Germany. And we will speak to the Rehberger brothers: Chris Rehberger is a graphic designer doing posters for artists while his brother Tobias is one of Europe’s most prominent artists who at the same time designs bridges for pedestrians or café interiors.
