The Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) takes place every year in July in Melbourne bringing manufacturers and buyers from the furniture industry face-to-face with one another. Amongst the products exhibited are bedroom furniture, mattresses, beds, lounge and dining room furniture, outdoor and garden furniture as well as other services related to these areas. Amongst the fair’s highlights is the international series of seminars entitled “Everyday Luxury”, aimed at experts in interior design. During the fair, a series of trend and design tours takes place, aiming to give visitors an overview of the coming year’s new products.
Tecno Mueble Internacional
Every year, the Tecno Mueble Internacional welcomes over 5,000 visitors from Mexico and around the world making this the biggest design fair in which machines, raw materials, and accessories used in producing furniture and processing wood play a part. The fair was founded as an initiative by the Jalisco Furniture Manufacturers Association with the aim of strengthening local manufacturers, and has now become a place to trade and exchange ideas for the Mexican and international furniture industry. This year marks the 30th edition of the fair and offers space to more than 200 exhibitors over 12,000 square metres to present their latest innovations in this ever-growing industry.
In addition to an event in February each year, the Formland trade fair also takes place in the second half of the year. As a major fixed event in the Danish design and interiors industry calendar, it gathers together exhibitors, designers, experts, and manufacturers with the aim of presenting an overview of current innovations and future developments. In addition, a major aspect is the opportunity to network with international partners and customers and the quest for new inspiration in the different trend areas. The Formland fair is purely for professionals. Entrance prices after 21 June 2018 are 200 Danish kroner, approximately 25 euros.
Gamescom is one of the most important international business and communications platforms for the games industry. Last year, over 355,000 professionals and private individuals visited the fair to find out about the latest innovations in the area of (digital) games, software, and accessories. This year, more than 900 companies from over 50 countries are expected to attend. An exclusive pre-entry ticket allows visitors to attend the trade fair and the entertainment area on two public visitor days before the official opening upon payment of an additional charge. On the Gamescom Campus, there will be presentations and shows. The NRW Youth Forum and other institutions and companies will be offering here an extensive programme on topics such as youth protection and media skills.
