Collective Design Fair
Skylight Clarkson SQ, New York
3 – 7 May 2017
The Collective Design Fair is celebrating its fifth edition in 2017. As in previous years, the art and design of the 20th and 21st centuries are on display and the event encourages networking and sharing relevant themes, ideas, and sources of inspiration.
Working under the name of The Collective is a team made up of designers, architects, curators, collectors and gallerists who are active throughout the year on New York’s art scene and for whom a network of creatives is at the heart of what they do. The Collective Design Fair is the Collective’s biggest annual event, bringing together a variety of well-known guests from the areas of art and design. The event is seen as a platform that is open to both established and emerging exhibitors, and shows classic works alongside new and innovative ones. It is precisely through this contrasting diversity that the organisers hope to facilitate interesting and inspiring discoveries. In addition to the exhibiting galleries, visitors can expect a comprehensive supporting programme, where, in addition to the commercial aspect, the significance of art and design in general is focused upon. The role of the disciplines will be researched with installations, curator-led tours and presentations. The precise programme will be announced shortly.
Standard day tickets cost 30 dollars, and 15 dollars for students. A three-day pass is available for 60 dollars.
