ING Creative Festival 2017

Alserkal Avenue, Dubai

13 – 15 April 2017

The arts district Alserkal Avenue in Dubai is one of the most important centres of contemporary art in the United Arab Emirates. From 13 to 15 April 2017 it is also the venue for the annual ING Creative Festival.

Over three days, numerous well-known leaders of the creative scene will meet here in the converted factories and warehouses of this industrial area to exchange ideas with the participants during conferences, workshops, and exhibitions. Over 22 international speakers from 15 different countries are expected to take part. Among them are Andrew Gordon of Pixar, Benson Shum of Disney and Doug Powell from IBM. In over 30 workshops still further speakers will share their knowledge. The varied offering ranges from packaging design and branding to bookbinding. In addition, there will be a creative market where each of the 55 exhibiting artists will represent a country. The works by these international artists will be available for sale at the venue. In the so-called career corner, visitors have the opportunity to present their portfolios to leading companies such as Google and exchange information about career prospects. The three-day event will also be accompanied by live concerts. An overview of the highly varied festival programme is available to view online.

A three-day pass costs 270 US dollar and includes entry to the creative market, conferences and career corner. A ticket for the workshops costs 325 US dollar. All tickets can be bought online from the website. It is also possible to apply for an internship at ING here.
