Raumwelten 2017

Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart

22 – 25 November 2017

Raumwelten describes itself as a platform for scenography, architecture and media. Its aim is to provide a meeting place for architects and communication consultants, media creatives and trade fair constructors, museum directors, scenographers, agencies and business decision-makers. Once again, the pavilion Lichtwolke will be built to be a special meeting point at the conference and serve as an event location, too.

This year’s Raumwelten conference is focusing on the theme of change and the new order that can emerge as a result. The priority areas of the five conference panels are: the worlds of work, business, knowledge areas, scenography, and architecture. Each of these panels, including workshops and presentations is organised by a curator and looks at transformation in the relevant themed areas. Clients and creatives will be presenting, discussing and analysing real-life examples of successful transformations in the “Punktlandungen” [spot landing]. Under the title of “ABC of Scenography”, solutions for scenography in spaces will be presented and worked on in the workshop.

Space plays a enormous role in creating transformations. It creates the encounter between people and between different cultures, but is also the framework for staging and structuring. And this is what Raumwelten 2017 wishes to examine and research. During the event, there will be “real time documentation” in which the event will be shared on digital platforms allowing access to the content across different spaces.

The event will be organised by FAMAB, an interdisciplinary association that has been dedicated to networking and promoting industry since 1963. Discounted early bird tickets can be obtained until 18 October 2017.
