24 – 27 June 2017
For the first time, the adjacent exterior area at the fair will present garden plants intermingled with lifestyle products in a decorative atmosphere under the slogan of “outdoor living”. In addition, in parallel with Tendence, the international florists’ conference will be taking place, organised by the company Lehner Wolle. Here, floral designers from many different European countries will be able to create works on current trending themes. Workshops for decorating retail spaces will also be on offer.
As part of the Tendence Academy, presentations will be given on themes that concern the market at the moment, such as the potential of e-commerce for retailer and the increasing significance of sustainability for the market value of a product.
The Ethical Style Guide provides information to trade visitors about which stands belong to responsibly and sustainably made products. This is one way in which the fair is reacting to the changing market demands and the increasing importance of sustainable products.
In 2016, Tendence welcomed more than 22,000 visitors from 79 different countries. Similar visitor numbers are expected this year.
